Good luck with your palette blade

Palette leaves love light and that's when they color out most beautifully. My tip is to place your plant in one of your lightest windows after rooting is complete, before that they don't want to be in direct sunlight. They also thrive outdoors during the summer and become a lovely splash of color in your flower bed or pot. Remember that the temperature should not go below 10 degrees at the lowest and if you want to save a cutting in autumn, you must cut it before the frost comes. Feel free to prune your pallet leaf after a couple of leaf pairs, then you will get a bushy and dense plant. Some palette leaves bud more than other varieties, if you want seeds you let it bloom, otherwise you pinch off buds as it otherwise runs out of energy from the plant. Keep in mind: The cutting that arrives at your home will most likely look a little sad and droopy for a few days. This is completely normal and the process of recovery takes about 5-7 days, until the new roots start to absorb water.
